Gladwin Optical 2025 Team Building Trip to Anji

Created on 08.19
From August 15th to 16th, 2025, the folks at Gladwin optical headed to Anji, which is called “China’s First Bamboo Town”, for a two - day - one - night team - building activity with the theme “Nature Shapes the Team”.
Gladwin Optical Team
The first stop was the Jiangnan Tianchi Scenic Area, known as the "Pearl of East China." It serves as both the starting point of the Tianhuangping Pumped Storage Power Station and a symbol of harmony between human innovation and nature. The 18-kilometer mountain road, winding like a jade belt, reveals changing views at every turn. Nicknamed "China's Akina" by car enthusiasts, it offers a unique experience with each season. The team enjoyed the breathtaking scenery with excitement and awe.
Next, we visited the Canglong Waterfalls, known as the "First Waterfall Valley in Northern Zhejiang." More than a hundred silver streams flow down from lush green valleys. Walking up the bluestone steps, the 100-meter waterfalls appear like silk ribbons, with mist cooling the air and washing away summer heat. Surrounded by bamboo forests and waterfalls, the fresh air, rich in negative ions, eased the team's work fatigue.
As night fell, the aroma of barbecue signaled the start of the evening fun. Everyone became a chef, grilling meat skewers over glowing charcoal. Cheers rose with the clinking of cold beers, and laughter filled the night. As the bonfire lit up the sky, familiar songs played, and circle dances brought back memories of pure joy. The night continued with games and unexpected performances that kept everyone laughing.
The next day's highlight was the Jiangjun Pass Drift, an adventure reaching its peak. The 4.2-kilometer river ride from Ningguo, Anhui to Anji, Zhejiang felt like a natural roller coaster, with a 130-meter vertical drop that brought loud screams. As the rafts slid down the 10-meter drop, waves soaked everyone, turning them into joyful kids playing in the water.
Gladwin Building Trip
On the return bus, some were looking at the wonderful moments captured on their phones, some were leaning against the window, relishing the beauty of the mountains and waters, and many were enthusiastically discussing the thrilling moments during the drift. This trip, which combined the wild charm of nature with the warmth of the team, not only washed away the fatigue of work but also made every member of Gladwin Optical feel that they are not only colleagues who fight side by side but also partners who share the beauty of life.
Nature's paths will cross again, and the future is full of promise. With the refreshing breeze and bamboo charm of Anji, we will continue to write the wonderful chapters of Gladwin Optical in the field of optics with even greater enthusiasm!
